Actually, we have our little Anna and we also want a second baby! Would you omit both options with children or was that only referring to the first photo?

It referred mainly to the first. This variant is simply not safe. How are children supposed to learn to climb stairs with it, and until what age do they need to be supervised? Our children could do it at two years old, and that is truly a blessing because the parents no longer have to be there every step of the way, and the children can go to their rooms by themselves, etc.

Regarding the price, ask the GU again. It will be more, he forgot the designer glass child gates (I'm guessing 3T€).

But with both variants, you have to be aware that they will never be clean unless you have a cleaning help who comes every two days.

I think we’d better choose a stainless steel railing and if necessary deviate slightly upwards from the standard. I hope something will be visible in the sampling as well.

The topic is also currently relevant for us, only it should not end at the stairs, but go all the way down to the floor.

We have also obtained various offers from metalworkers/stair builders. The best offer is just under €2800 including tax for floor and ceiling rails made of U-profile, powder-coated surface according to RAL, with floor and ceiling connection, filling with 16 mm toughened safety glass TVG, clear glass, approx. 2.50 x 2.50 m, and installation.

For us, it would be about 3 by 2.5, but visually it would be pretty much the same. Which region are you from? How big was the range of the offers? And one more technical question... is it mounted on the raw floor?
