Good evening,
We currently have two quite large terrace doors planned in the living area.
1.: Height: 2.55m Width: 3.20
2.: Height: 2.55m Width: 2.40
The plan is to have the whole thing with an [Aufsatzrollladen] height of 25cm. Flush ceiling lintels are planned in the concrete ceiling. The floor construction is 20cm. The rough construction height is 3 meters (from top of rough floor to bottom of ceiling).
The height is composed as follows:
- 20cm compensating element for screed due to floor construction up to the top edge of finished floor
- 2.55m window/door
- 25cm [Aufsatzrollladen]
= 3m
My question to the experts: Should I reduce the width of the openings so that we do not have problems with the [Rollläden]? For example, instead of 3.20, make it 3 meters?
The rest of the windows in the building have been planned by the architect with a width/rough opening of 1.60m (double windows).
Thanks & regards
