Hello,
is there a switch with an indicator light, where the indicator light turns on when I switch off the power and when I switch on the power, the indicator light turns off? So the opposite of the usual.
I would like to see on the outdoor light with integrated motion sensor when it is switched off. In case someone accidentally switches it off.
So:
Power OFF = Indicator light ON
Power ON = Indicator light OFF

Thank you very much for your help!

Best regards
Franzi

It should be possible with a control toggle switch. The outdoor socket would then need to be connected to the output that is not connected to the control light (that's why a toggle switch, otherwise there would be no such connection). The socket is therefore on when the switch is in the "Off" position. When switched on, the outdoor socket is turned off and the control light is turned on, and vice versa.

If the outdoor light has a motion sensor, a professional can also simply connect it at the light switch so that it always gets power. A professional, mind you, a layperson is not allowed to do that.
