Power cable too narrow for multi-utility

our shell construction is finished and we have a Doyma Basic R3. The electrician said we are laying a 5x16mm2 cable from the house connection column (with house connection box) into the house. Yesterday, the installation part of the Doyma for inside, i.e. with the inner seals, arrived, and the cable must have at least a 26mm diameter. However, my 5x16mm2 cable is only 24mm. Is it possible to put something between the cable and the seal, or does another cable have to be used, which would be the worst case since the trench is already closed. I thank you in advance for your help.

The correct way would be with the appropriate adapters/inserts from Doyma. For example, a foldable onion insert. Silicone is rather "botched". If anything, rather PU (not foam). I wouldn’t make a science out of it either. Grease PU onto the cable and once it’s "through," seal it from the front as well. You’ll find what you need at Sika.

Exactly. The manufacturer offers different inserts.
I don't know your insert. It is probably also foldable.
Simply seal with PU in the area where the cable runs through the gasket and thus equalize the 2mm.

No problem if the cable is just pulled through. Pull it through and mark the spot with a permanent marker where the cable sits in the seal. Pull the cable out and apply sealant to this spot. Now pull the cable through again. This way you have sealant on the outside and in the seal. At the end, also apply sealant on the inside on the joint between the cable and the feedthrough.
