Good morning,

for almost 3 years now, after building the house, a power cable has been hanging out of the exterior wall. Originally, we wanted to attach a classic illuminated house number to it, as you find on almost every house. However, the cable is no longer needed for that. Now I am faced with the question of what to do with it. The only thing I can think of is either attaching a lamp (which I no longer need, as one is integrated in the soffit) or an outdoor camera (which I don't need). Since the option to press the cable into the wall and plaster over it doesn't sound ideal either, I wanted to ask you if you have any ideas on what the power cable on the exterior facade could still be used for. I am grateful for any advice!

Yep, a nice camera dummy that blinks red when it detects movement. Or a metal wall Schwibbogen (very popular here in the Ore Mountains). But a nicely plastered, white-painted wall would be nicer.

There are suitable backing plates (made of acrylic, for example), so that the Schwibbogen also works effectively in front of busy surfaces. Therefore: Schwibbogen+

Or an outdoor socket for lighting in winter, string lights or similar. You can never have enough of those.
