Hello everyone, we are planning to have a concrete slab poured and then to have the shell structure built as well. The concrete slab will be 7.5 x 11m and it will only be a single-story building, about 2.5m high.

However, we have no idea about the costs so far. Does anyone of you perhaps have an idea of what something like this costs? On average, I know it always depends on the material. But we have to watch the money and therefore cannot use the most expensive raw materials. Is there a formula that one can use as a guideline?

We are also considering having the concrete slab for the garage poured at the same time. It would then be 5 x 9m.

Thank you very much in advance.

What is this supposed to be? A one-room apartment? After subtracting technology, there might be only 60 m2 of living space left. With such a small area, the price per m2 is above average. But since you haven't given any conditions, it's hard to name any numbers here. With everything included, between 160 and 300 thousand.

How is it meant that you do not have a cost plan yet?

What is your construction project based on?

As far as I know, there are no relevant differences in raw material costs for the foundation slab and shell construction. At most, the costs depend on the economy and demand on the world market (reinforcing steel ...). A special case would be building with demolition bricks, which resourceful people might be able to procure for free. but ... Is there still a lack of basics? Do you have a design plan, a structural calculation, a building permit? There are plenty of topics here about construction costs in general, again and again ... Skimming through them should give you a sense.

Calculate 2.85 floor height, that gives a ridge height of 6m with a 30° roof pitch. With these external dimensions, 63 sqm will remain after walls.

Houses can be financed, cheap shacks cannot. So you don’t actually save, because you have to have all the money yourself.

To me, it also sounds a bit like "we’re building ourselves a fixed tent," naively thought.

That sounds quite disproportionate compared to the house. Before I saved money on the house, I’d rather park on the street.
