Possible flooring in the basement on anhydrite screed?

We would like to start with the flooring in the basement and are now considering which flooring to choose.

At the moment, there is bare anhydrite screed, which obviously cannot remain bare. Cement screed would probably have been better, but we did not know that at the time and unfortunately were not told. Now it is what it is.

In the hobby/guest room, we will use rigid vinyl, which we have also installed on the other floors. For the remaining utility rooms, we would like something more durable and above all something significantly cheaper.

What options do we have that are inexpensive and easy to lay/apply?
In addition, the question has arisen whether we need to seal beneath the flooring in the technical room because of the washing machine, water softener, heating, and possible water damage.

Tiles, vinyl, laminate - available up to super cheap.

Tiles are too elaborate for me, to be honest. When you say vinyl, you don’t mean rigid/SPC, do you – because I can’t find anything that’s really cheap there. Isn’t laminate questionable, especially for the technical/utility room due to the moisture? Would pouring leveling compound and then sealing be an option, or does that not work again because of the moisture-sensitive screed?

No, simple vinyl flooring from 5€/sqm. Or laminate at a similar price. It’s all "plastic" anyway.

Material-wise, yes - plastic.

If you consider real problems, then with that screed, laminate is the least of your worries.

You can apply leveling compound. But it’s leveling compound, not a floor. If you really want to exclude moisture problems, then you seal the floor (like in bathrooms) and tile over it.
