Hello,
we are at the beginning of the planning for a single-family house on our plot (outskirts of a city north of Munich) and I would like to get your opinion on the placement of the house on the plot. It is to be a house with approx. 150 m² of living space.
Our plot (black border in the plan) is 720 m², but it tapers to a point on one side. Currently, there is still a small old house, a tool shed, and an old garage on the plot, all of which will be demolished. So the plot is fully available. The access is via a path from the east. Several apartment buildings may possibly be built on the plot west of ours in the coming years. However, the terrain slopes downwards towards the west. The terrace is to be on the south side. A double garage would probably be best placed in the north, adjacent to the neighboring property.
How would you place the house? I am grateful for all suggestions.
Our consideration is whether it makes sense to build the house parallel to the western property boundary (29.3 m) or like the old house currently, only somewhat larger or longer. Or maybe another arrangement would be better. As I said, we are still at the very beginning.
