Poroton bricks are built and not covered during rain

Dear forum,
today we started building walls (Poroton) at our place. The exterior walls were begun to be laid and then left uncovered, although it has been raining the whole time. Is this a problem or are we worrying unnecessarily?

As long as the bricks are unfilled, this is not nice but to my knowledge does not violate the processing guidelines of the manufacturers of such bricks. If the bricks are filled, you should ask your craftsman in writing to cover the bricks in unsuitable weather or at the end of the day when finishing work.

Leaving them exposed is sloppy. I would call and summarize the conversation about it in an email.

The brick absorbs water and can dry again. No direct damage occurs. It is sloppy work nonetheless, and therefore I would note that as well.

Hi,
when I look at the cut bricks at the corner, they seem to be filled with mineral wool. That must not get wet. In other words, this is now a bigger problem.
