Hello. Does anyone have experience with ready-made pools and can share? What do you think about [Fertigpools]? Our pool builder is totally PRO ready-made pools, apparently he only installs those things nowadays, rarely the masonry ones made of concrete with foil. The price differences aren’t that big either. We are not yet decided and look forward to exchanging experiences. Regards

We have had a concrete pool with only a coating for 60 years - without a liner, because I don’t like that.

A stainless steel pool is also great - however, the edge gets very hot in the sun.

if the price makes little difference for you, I would tend to go for the concrete pool. I suspect the margin in the prefabricated segment is bigger for him than with the concrete work the concrete pool, if done properly, will last forever the plastic pool maybe only 20 years..30 years? I consider the concrete construction to be of higher quality, individual wishes are possible. I have no experience with stainless steel - I am currently building a concrete pool with liner

Unfortunately, no practical experience yet because we are still building, but after much back and forth, we decided on a compass ceramic pool (pre-fabricated pool). The decisive factor for us was the significantly lower price (12k difference) and that the liners in this variant were sometimes already very unattractive in exhibitions (depending on the manufacturer, we also saw great pools with liners) and on inquiry were only 5-7 years old (faded, wavy, etc.). However, if the price had been the same (ask exactly here what the earthworks and concreting cost), I probably would have still decided on the liner variant for the simple reason that I am only 1.58m tall and well.. all the pre-fabricated pools without exception have a depth of 1.50m, but for comfortable standing I would need about 1.30m :) But for 12,000 euros, I will just stand on tiptoe or figure out another way to manage :)

Many ways lead to the goal. There are huge differences in price and quality.
Usually, filters that are too small and unsuitable pumps are sold/installed.
Preferably filter balls as well.
Water must be moved and filtered for a sufficiently long time. The warmer the water, the more must be filtered.
With appropriate technology, the effort can be minimized (dosing systems, automatic backwash, pool robots, etc.).
Stainless steel pools made of V4a are pretty much the pinnacle. There are not many companies I would trust here. Also, price-wise it is far from a ready-made pool.

Does the price difference come only from the pool or is other technology installed as well? Nowadays, definitely install a controllable pump. It pays off within two years and also offers more possibilities. The control system should be able to control it as well.
