P.S. and it's best not to google or read forums on the topic of asbestos, but to talk to experts. On the internet, you read the most absurd things, up to the recommendation to dispose of all clothing if you have ever been on a construction site where asbestos was potentially "present." I do not want to trivialize this or spread panic, but only to urge people to approach the matter objectively and to consider what exactly they are afraid of and how to clarify the concrete risk. Simply obtaining expert reports blindly is also pointless if you have not carefully thought about what you are actually asking for and what you will specifically do with the results.

Thank you for your detailed answer! That was helpful again. Yes, that's basically how we see it right now as well. We are currently at the point where we want to have a pollutant report done before the purchase (the banks apparently require this for prefabricated houses from this year of construction as well) and want to have the things tested that we plan to renovate (a bathroom, kitchen, floors, we want to remove the wallpaper and make a breakthrough in a wall). The owners still have to agree to this. We hope that the company will then give us a few tips, since we don’t really know our way around and – as you already said – the internet drives you crazy. Depending on the results, we would estimate what costs will come up and whether we can still afford the house like this.
