Plastic windows vs wooden windows

I would say that this is purely an optical question. There are houses where wood fits better and there are houses where plastic fits better. For houses where both fit, it's better to choose plastic, as it is easier to maintain.

i swear by wooden windows. they are initially more beautiful in terms of appearance and actually not that difficult to maintain. if the paint should peel or fade, which will eventually happen due to the weather, then you just repaint them again, it’s not a lifelong task. if you have many windows, you don’t have to paint them all in one day.

I don't think wooden windows are harder to clean. I have some and no problems with them. As long as they are smooth and without ornaments, cleaning is no problem.

Plastic windows are definitely easier to maintain than wooden windows. If you prefer wooden windows, you have to be prepared to repaint them every 2-3 years. If you don't feel like doing that, I would recommend plastic windows.
