Planning to renovate the terrace and house entrance

I would make the terrace with a level exit from the terrace door. Then you can make a staircase into the garden as you like. Also, a small descent to the outbuilding (salmon-colored shed) – like a small cellar staircase. I find that much more attractive than having to step out of the house over several steps first.

Thanks for the idea. A friend of mine had that idea already... However, I’d have to measure, I think we wouldn’t be able to add a roof anymore. Otherwise, the space would be too tight, that is, between the floor and the terrace roof. I haven’t asked a professional yet, though. Another problem could possibly be that the shed houses an oil heating system with 3 large 2000l tanks. Although these would have to be dismantled anyway if the heating system is ever replaced... I need to think it over again. Thanks for the idea anyway.
