Planning the execution plan for ceiling spotlights

We currently favor subtle, swiveling mounted lights in the living room for the general lighting.

Terrible, we have Paulmann spots with brushed aluminum ;) The important point aside from taste: If you want to recess something into the ceiling, you have to decide now which spots or recessed lamps it will be. Otherwise, the hole will be the wrong size.

This is only partially true. Generally, somewhat larger Halox cans are installed there, which are then closed with a fiberboard. Then you can mill out the necessary hole as needed. Of course, it has limits. You can't get a 20cm shop light in there anymore :-D

Exactly, I was referring to larger rectangular lights, if one wants them.

Something different. The WC window next to the front door is really supposed to have a parapet height of 0?? I imagine that to be quite unpleasant.
