Good day,

I am currently building a city villa.
And I am at the point of spots in the roof overhang. I have to lay the cables next week, but I have not really dealt with the distance or how many are needed yet.
Maybe someone can give me some information here.

Data:
City villa with a floor area of 7x11 meters.
Roof overhang 49 cm.
I would like to have it nicely illuminated all around.
The spots are controlled via a [Logo], so that different spotlights can be controlled.

I would be very happy to receive feedback.

Best regards
Daniel

I would coordinate the spacing with the pitch of the rafters / beams (if I were to provide such spots).

And I would only do that at the front facing the street. So that there isn’t constantly bright light over the bedrooms, etc. Also consider, these floodlights attract insects in summer, and as a result the house wall gets dirty quickly. We have five of them on the front of the house, I wouldn’t do it again. Karsten

I can control and select each sport individually. Since I operate them via a Logo control. The house will be clad with brick slips. I am concerned about how many and what distance. Also, which spots are best to use.

We have a house width with clinker of just under 8 m and three spots at the front and back. It looks totally great in the evening! And also at the back of the house, there is nice lighting for the terrace – not super bright for reading, but perfect for cozy sitting.

Currently, I am also thinking of 3 spots on the long side 11m and 2 on the short 7m. I would do this so that the lights are not directly above the windows. I am just wondering what strength lum and what beam angle to use.
