Dear forum members,
I have discovered your great forum and would really appreciate your help/feedback on my controlled residential ventilation system.

I am Dennis, 31 years old, from Bremen.

Currently, my wife and I are building a single-family house of approximately 150 sqm.
We are planning a central controlled residential ventilation system with heat recovery.

Our electrician had given the best offer for this. However, by that time, I had already familiarized myself so well with the topic of controlled residential ventilation that I had immediate change requests.

A Helios EC 270 was offered.
The controlled residential ventilation system will be installed above our bedroom in the attic.
Easyplan specifies a nominal capacity of 159 for our house.

For soundproofing, I had read that it is better to choose a larger dimensioned system. Therefore, I would prefer to take the EC 300 or 500.

Also on the topic of soundproofing: I have redesigned all valves that were planned with 2 pipes to one valve each with one pipe. So, preferably planned an extra pipe.

Since the lines from the system to the bedroom are very short, it makes sense to lay a loop here, right? According to Helios, the pipes should be at least 5 meters long.

Attached are my planning and the calculation from Helios.

I would be very happy to receive feedback.

Best regards

Dennis

An electrician installs a controlled residential ventilation system? Plumbing is then probably done by the painter and the structural work by the carpenter. The system should be planned by a professional, then you don’t have to worry if everything is correct. Don’t just look at the price – you can already see the result, YOU are currently redesigning what your electrician is offering you...

Absolutely right, however I did not find a specialist in the Oldenburg Bremen area during my search. From my feeling, nowadays everyone offers a controlled residential ventilation system. Therefore, I am now choosing the best offer in terms of price-performance ratio combined with my own thoughts/research.

The controlled residential ventilation system was apparently designed according to DIN. Just ask if a design under increased noise protection requirements is also possible. The DIN should also be familiar with that. Alternatively: according to Swiss standard SIA 382/1, which to my knowledge is also better for noise protection.

You are overestimating the noises - we also have two hoses on one valve in the bedroom - you can't hear anything there even in silence.

In the living room even less so...
