Hello.
We have received our planning for our controlled residential ventilation. In our two full-story single-family house with a flat roof, a Zehnder Comfoair Q350 TR with an enthalpy exchanger will be installed.
I would be interested to know what you think of the planning.

Kind regards
Peter

I would leave it as it is.

So the distribution of supply/exhaust air looks pretty much the same for us, so it should be fine.

What puzzles me is the design. We are supposed to get a Q450.
Especially the factors for the air exchange are significantly different for me (see screenshot).
With double the volume, we only have "50m3 more" of required equipment air volume.

If you take my factors for your case, a 250 would be sufficient, but if I take your factors for mine, I need a 600.

So what is correct?

One reads on various pages about air exchange rates of 0.3 - 0.5. For the nominal ventilation, the upper and lower limits have each been assumed once. Personally, I would tend to aim closer to the upper limit due to reserves or noise levels. However, this is just my layman's opinion.

Does anyone else have an opinion on the planning?

These are all ceiling plate valves, right?

Check if they might collide with planned lamp positions. Although I don’t see anything obvious there now.

The drawn-in furniture is correct? Then maybe in the guest upper floor a bit further away from the bed. Generally, I tried to move the valves a bit more towards the room corners, as long as the planner didn’t rebel (they are not allowed completely in the corner). That was sometimes not so easy to get a decent result, e.g. in a 12 sqm room where at least one lamp, presence detector, smoke detector, and ventilation valve are supposed to go on the ceiling. It shouldn’t look randomly placed but still has to work.

In the ground floor, 40m³/h flow from the living room towards the bathroom and utility room. What kind of door is that "mit Glasausschnitt"? With real glass doors you have to be careful, they hang closer to the floor than a normal door and then overflow can be difficult (draft and suction effects).

The plans we received from Zehnder were all 95% good. The last 5 percent was then the client’s taste.
