Plan the position of the attic ladder for future expansion?

For me, this is not well thought out. If the floor is really going to be used and not just sporadically entered to put something down, then a proper staircase right away. Otherwise, it will remain a hatch. If later... if, yes if... then there will be a solution later. But not in front of the children's room. It is all way too tight there. Then one will probably also approach the stairwell, which will really cost a lot.
