Hello everyone,

During my renovation, I unfortunately postponed the topic of controlled residential ventilation for a very long time, and now I am unsure how and whether I should install one. I am familiar with all the pros and cons, for example from this . My biggest concern is that the fans might be too loud. Also, there is actually no budget planned for it right now.

If I had to prioritize my requirements, I would say:
1. as quiet as possible
2. flexibly controllable
The air volume would be rather unimportant to me, since even an undersized system would significantly improve the indoor climate and still ensure regular ventilation.

Currently, I tend to choose the Lunos e² or e²neo for the sleeping and living areas. Together with control via KNX. Even though I actually never wanted KNX . But are there flexible alternatives?

Does it make sense now, for example, to already plan 160mm core drillings, lay cables, and retrofit the ventilation later?

Best regards
Tassimat

Why not central?

Without having checked it exactly, I claim it is too expensive

How many rooms are we talking about? If it’s not just two and the renovation is not yet that far advanced, I would reconsider centralized controlled residential ventilation. The devices you selected plus core drilling, power supply control, covers, wiring, etc., you are probably at €1000 per unit. You never wanted KNX? So you currently don’t have KNX and now want to install KNX only for a few fans? That doesn’t really sound very sensible at first.

Hi

When requiring it to be as quiet as possible, the decentralized ones should already be excluded.
The fan directly at the bed is certainly not the right way.

That it will be audible is clear to me, but there are supposed to be differences between different systems.

I know you are all advising me to go centralized, but then I would have to install quite a few more pipes for which I have no space. If I now had to box in or lower areas, then I would rather do without ventilation.
