Perimeter insulation - botch or is it okay like this?

Hello everyone,

I was just at the construction site and tomorrow the workspace will be filled.

The insulation looks like shoddy work in two places to me, but I am an amateur, what do the experts say?

I should have held a meter stick next to it, but unfortunately I didn't have one with me.

What is botched for you there? Or is the insulation sticking out?

In the first picture, I find the foam spot quite thick.

In the second picture, there is a cavity directly just above the ground at the edge.

That's called complaining on a high level. Don't get me wrong.

That's fine as it is. Maybe add some foam if necessary and it's good if you have stomach aches. You're miles away from botching here (judging by the pictures).

I think if you read here too long, you will eventually become paranoid as a layman.

From my point of view, the work is also completely fine. We have seen completely different "pictures" here in the construction area. ;) Good luck with the next steps!
