Hello,
a facade builder installed EPS insulation boards (Rygol perimeter and base insulation boards 035 3m with 10 cm thickness) for the insulation of the house plinth (which is already 60 years old) and the area below it, reinforced them (with reinforcing mesh and Knauf SM 300) and now wants to apply a sealing of weber.tec Superflex D 24 on the insulation boards. He told us that it works that way. I have my doubts because according to the manufacturer, Superflex D 24 should be applied directly to the masonry. Does anyone have experience with this? In my opinion, the insulation boards would have to be removed first, then the sealing applied to the masonry, and then the insulation boards put back on.
