Pellets storage in a self-built pellet silo

It is currently not clear to me why the pellets cannot tolerate frost, but can tolerate humidity, rain, and sunlight.

If you want to start bucketfuls then, you might as well buy bags.

If you want to start by the bucketful, you might as well buy bags.

I could, but then I still have to transport the bags from the curbside to the storage location with a wheelbarrow or sack truck.
That means loading and stacking again, so unnecessary work, and then I’m also dependent on the weather. Eventually, I’ll be too old for this work, it’s still manageable now but you do get older.
