But the planning only starts then, why do I have to pay in advance?

To what extent is that included? It says "contract confirmation," so basically immediately after signing. Our first installment was due after the preparation of the building application documents (significantly after the contract confirmation) and even then not all planning services were included (structural analysis, drainage, soil survey, and TGA planning are still in progress, the building application has long been submitted).

Inquire and then have 1.1 changed. If the communication is that good, it should be no problem

A general contractor usually advances payments with their standard houses. The planning has been done at some point. There are also already logistical plans – you will very likely already have a file with the general contractor.
Also, one often signs only after much has already been planned.
If that is not the case with you, then negotiate as advises.
The payment plan was created for all customers based on the factory plan and has been notarized.
If customers appear as individual cases, some changes can be made conditionally.

Thank you for the information.

The construction company is planning our house completely individually according to our wishes. There is no reference to a type house.

We have received floor plans and exterior views as drafts.

And are they only worth the paper?
