Hi,
we are buying a condominium and the general contractor has agreed that we can choose our own parquet outside the standard material.
Selectable by the builder is:
Boen parquet country floorboard oak Vivo, brushed and oiled 2200 x 181 x 14 mm (wear layer 4mm)
A local interior designer recommended HAIN parquet to us (Ambiente Maroneiche Vario oiled) 220 x 19.5 x 1.5 (4mm wear layer)
At a local wood specialist retailer (Holz Hahn in Krefeld) we liked a NoName parquet in the same dimensions also with a 4mm wear layer best.
Advantage at Holz Hahn: They would also stain a live edge for a kitchen counter in the same tone as the parquet.
All three are roughly the same price.
Do you see advantages or disadvantages in the mentioned brands? Would you recommend something completely different?
Best regards
Maria
