Hello, is 3 m wide enough for the driveway and parking next to the house?

The property width is about 17 m, house width about 10.20 m, garage width about 3.80 m (with boundary construction).

Originally, we wanted the garage to be 3.15 m wide and the driveway/parking accordingly about 3.65 m wide.

Unfortunately, the building application is already ready for submission and a change would involve effort.

A VW Passat is 2018mm including mirrors, so it fits after all.

On each side, there are then only about 50 cm to open the doors and get in or out, is that enough?

It's just tight, but then you save yourself the luxury of getting out together and the passenger has to get out first. I don't see it as a real problem and it won't be any different with our carport.

That may have been the case once. Meanwhile, it's 2.06m.

It was just as a reference and next time you buy a car, buy electrically folding mirrors :)
