Hi Pokoi,
well, I can only speak from my own experience. We have had a wooden swing for our children in the garden for 5 years now. So it is exposed to wind and weather. I had it concreted in for a stable stand and every spring it is impregnated. I don't think you will have any problems with it. It doesn't rot away that quickly.
