Hello everyone,
we have purchased a plot of land on which either a semi-detached house or a terraced house with three units is to be built. In the meantime, we have received the building application drawings. However, the parking spaces are drawn outside the building envelope.
According to the development plan, the parking spaces should be located within the building envelope. We are planning neither a garage nor a carport, but exclusively open parking spaces.
Our architect is relaxed about this: He says that a waiver application can be submitted with the building application so that the parking spaces could also be approved outside the building envelope. The plot is located in Schleswig-Holstein, where two parking spaces per residential unit are required. It is impossible for us to meet this requirement within the building envelope.
I have attached the development plan and a text section of the development plan for you.
How do you see the situation? Are our concerns justified or can we take it easy?
