Parapet height/work surface for windows in the kitchen

We were just at the construction site, currently the exterior walls on the ground floor are standing – everything is still in the shell. For our kitchen planning, we assumed a work surface height of 94.5 cm (we wanted it that way). Of course, we passed that on to our shell construction company. Now we have just measured. From the floor (no screed yet, so bare concrete) to the top edge of the masonry window opening is exactly 100 cm. Now we don’t know how the detailed structure of a window looks and how high it will all be in the end. Do you think the measurements will work out so that we ultimately have the work surface at 94.5 cm height? We will have underfloor heating and the floor build-up is about 16 cm.

No, that definitely won’t work.
Have your company calculate the FINISHED sill height without the windowsill, and how high the frame from the window to the bottom edge of the window sash will be. And have them give it to you in writing.

Now you will have about 84 cm sill height (bottom edge of the windowsill) .. if tiles or parquet etc. get a bit thicker, it quickly goes down to only 82 cm.

For a desired working height of 94 cm and a countertop thickness of 4 cm, a finished sill height of 90 cm would be ideal.
