Good evening,
next summer our 130m2 house will be completed. The walls will be handed over in Q2. Since we are absolute amateurs, we are now wondering how we should design them. It is certain that we want everything to be done by a company.
Our first idea is to have Raufaser wallpapered and painted in the finished attic.
On the upper floor (bathroom, children's room, bedroom, and office) we would also favor Raufaser. Primarily because, in our opinion, it is not so susceptible to damage with children and cats. Or can you recommend good alternatives?
On the ground floor we have considered having the living room plastered in Q4 and designed a bit nicer than with Raufaser.
We would also like to have the two staircases and hallways skimmed in Q4, as we were advised not to apply wallpaper due to high wear, especially in the staircase area.
However, we have no idea yet how the Q4 walls can be further treated.
Does anyone have good tips for wall design?
I think painter's fleece is too susceptible. Especially because of the cats. If they scratch, it surely cannot be repaired so well.
Directly painting on the wall? Is that possible with Q4?
I also like textured or structured plaster. Do the walls have to be skimmed to Q4 for this?
I hope you can help me with tips, criticism, etc.
We have budgeted around 10,000 euros for this. Does that sound somewhat realistic?
