Painting exterior stairs with which paint/primer?

Hello,

I have the following outdoor staircase and would like to paint it. Unfortunately, I have no idea about paints or primers. Maybe someone can help me so that the paint does not peel off after just one year.

I would not remove the steps. That will only make it look better temporarily. You will always have wear on the steps. Better to just clean them occasionally.

The only thing that probably stays on such a staircase are Bundstein carpets.
