Ok thank you all. The wallpaperer is also the site manager at the same time. As I said, he suggested wallpapering and painting over the switch boxes, for example, those containing the wiring for the electric blinds, simply without covers, using painter's fleece, flush and even, and if someone ever needs to access them, I should just pierce the wallpaper. I have never seen this done anywhere before, so I'm really unsure whether I should say ... Ok or please put the covers on...

In the past (before 1990), this was also done like that with us; i.e., junction boxes remained open and were wallpapered over. Presumably, these covers did not exist. Today I would either use blind covers (plastic parts that snap on and leave a minimal bulge under the wallpaper) or blind covers with device frames (expensive).
