Paint/seal basement floor with floor paint?

So we will then do it ourselves.
We plan to paint the garage floor and cellar screed directly.
Would you then choose the 1K paint, e.g. the mentioned "wilckens Garagenbodenfarbe"
Or would you take a 2K epoxy product?

Do you have any product suggestions for us?

Depends on the load. If it's with a car on it, 2K. If it's a kind of basement, 1K is enough.

One more quick question, since next week, when the screed is hopefully dry enough, I can start painting. Did you also paint a baseboard, like 5 - 10 cm up the wall, or just the floor and the wall with regular wall paint?

I have painted a baseboard. Looks better, IMHO, and it's the proper thing to do.

Yes, I only know the base like that too. I also wanted to tackle it soon. We have been living in the house for about 6 months now, and this ceiling from the screed in a single room is amazing. I think I will paint the basement floor with 1K, then the garage floor with 2K. Does anyone have tips for good paints or components?
