Owning a home as a single person possible!?

At least with a rental house you have a better quality of life

I would basically leave out the basement in the calculations and focus on the living area...

If you build, then better go bigger right away instead of possibly having to extend later.

Alright, I'll definitely give it some thought. But I'm already relieved that at least financially it's not impossible to implement it alone.
