Hello everyone,
we may have made a big mistake... When we talked to the construction manager regarding our water tap, we always knew that we didn't want a "hole" through the house wall and rejected an outdoor water tap. Garden irrigation should be done via cistern or well. Since groundwater is about 40m deep, the costs still need to be planned first.
Well, anyway, it's about the fact that we completely missed that we could put the outdoor water tap on the back of the garage. Hmmmm, today the slab is being poured, yesterday the strip foundations were made... I couldn't reach our construction manager last night but sent an SMS. No feedback yet and I also can't reach him by phone.

Do we still have a chance for an outdoor water tap? Or can I run a line past the distributor on the house and then build a so-called tapping point for myself? So that I have an outdoor water tap, but it's completely independent, without the house?

Damn... You just don't think of everything.
We thought of so much, but not that...

At our place, the pipe for the outdoor faucet was laid on the slab... just like all the other water pipes... so at first, I don't see any problems...

Edit: Of course, our pipe then went through the wall to the outside... there was then a frost-proof faucet installed, which was also "insulated"... inside it was normally plastered over again...

Another edit: I probably replied too quickly... after reading it several times, I still don't understand what kind of faucet should go where and how..?

Without knowing the details of your house now, there might of course still be possibilities. Will your house be a solid construction? Then the cables can of course still be chased into the wall. In a timber frame house, it would be possible to lay the garden cable on the floor like other cables and lines and then pour the screed over it.

Yes, it is massive construction. As I said, there are no walls yet. Today, the floor slab will be poured. The floor slab of the garage is still to be poured together with the floor slab of the house. Since the water tap is supposed to go on the back wall of the garage, I still have a little hope that everything will go well and that it can still be done.

It will not be a problem. Water pipes will be laid on the floor slab.

No reason to panic. The pipe goes onto the base plate and then through the wall (of the garage).
