I removed the old outdoor lamp (without internal motion sensor). Two meters away there is an external motion sensor, which is somehow connected to this old lamp (still hanging). Now the new outdoor lamp (with integrated motion sensor) has been installed. From the wall come 2 black, 2 blue, and 2 green cables each. These were - as with the old lamp - each color connected together at one terminal block and then only one black and one blue cable were connected to the lamp (green no connection, closed off with insulating tape).

Now the lamp does not turn on. Possible causes? Do I need to unscrew the old motion sensor? Or somehow disable it?

The lamp receives no power. :D

And then? If you already ask such questions here, you better turn to someone who knows what they’re doing and can do it for you, otherwise someone might get hurt.

If you connected it the same way as the previous one, it is basically also connected to the old motion detector. Basically now to two. (old plus new) You had to connect the new lamp directly to the constant phase, it is internally coupled with the motion detector. For this, it may be necessary to remove the old one and install a bridge there. However, nobody can really tell you that from a distance without pictures.

Thank you very much for the answer. The lamp works, but it is actually connected to the old, inconveniently located motion detector. How do I install a jumper there (presumably also 6 cables)? I have already connected quite a few lamps, but such a special case is new to me. Getting an electrician for something like this is currently not easy, very long waiting times, and I need quick solutions due to the risk of tripping.

Theoretically, it has two cables. Power supply and forwarding to the lamps. However, this can look different depending on the installation. Without photos, we cannot proceed. A Wago connector should be sufficient. There is a switch contact on the motion detector that must be bypassed and the wires short-circuited.

Only clamp the two cables together using the Wago terminal. However, pay attention to the color coding.
