Hello everyone,

I have been racking my brains all the time over the following question:

On all sides of the house (new construction in planning), LED floodlights with motion detectors are to be installed under the roof (4m height).
Ideally, it would be possible to switch all the floodlights from inside as follows:
- all floodlights permanently on (e.g. in the "alarm case")
- all floodlights permanently off (cuddle party in the garden)
- all floodlights on "detection," i.e. only turn on when motion is detected.

I know that you can always set that directly on the floodlights themselves, but they are mounted under the roof and I am looking for a solution on how to do this for all floodlights from inside.

Do you have any ideas/experiences?

So we have it on the terrace and at the front door... the electrician did it. I had also suggested the Arnold light switch to him... but he always implemented it with a simple double switch...

Both clicked up means off for us... both clicked down means on... and only one clicked (so one up and one down) means motion detector... maybe that helps you further..

Our motion detector receives power and switches the lamp on by detection. An additional switch now switches the lamp in parallel. So the lamp gets power from two sources, from the motion detector when something moves, and/or when I switch on continuous power via the switch.

If you now install a second switch that supplies the so-called switching current to the motion detector, you could also change the mode on the detector with it. I think I read something like that earlier in the Gira catalog.

Alternatively, you could also completely turn off the motion detector using a second switch. If both switches are off, the lamp stays off. If continuous power is on, the lamp is always on. If the motion detector has power and continuous power is off, you have the detection mode.
