I bought 2 Netatmo cameras for outside. They work via Wi-Fi. It is actually an outdoor lamp with a built-in camera.

There is the Ring Doorbell, which can be connected to the existing doorbell wiring. It has been running smoothly for me for over a year. However, a subscription is required if you want to watch videos afterwards. If you only want to see when someone rang, it works without a subscription.

Netatmo has also announced a video doorbell that runs without a subscription, but unfortunately it is not yet available.

At the Steinel light, the camera is fixed facing forward and not rotatable! Only tiltable.

Do you possibly have the option to attach a Blink XT to one of the lights? They run for about 2 years on battery.

Thank you for the many tips. Then I will take another look to see if I can still connect something to the bell wire... I don't need remote access. So no subscription with many manufacturers either... According to the manual, the Steinel L600 can be rotated and swiveled...

Then they changed something. A while ago, I bought a Steinel L600 (I think at least that's what it was *g*) at our hardware store and found out at home that the camera is not rotatable. Accordingly, I returned the lamp.
