Organize construction electricity/construction water yourself?

So our electrician wanted about €60 per month for the box.
We also dried the screed using the construction site electricity meter. That was in winter and we absolutely wanted to make sure the screed was bone dry, so we heated well until March, which then caused about €2000 in electricity costs!
Therefore, if screed drying is included, I would definitely take the flat rate, otherwise it can definitely be worthwhile, water cost us about €200 for a single-family house with a basement.

Standpipe for construction water? I had to first look up what that is *g*. Nobody wanted that with us, they just attached a valve, done.

The biggest effort was really the power box, at 60€ you’re in cheaply. We rented ours from a rental company because all electricians don’t have their own anymore, as it wouldn’t be worth it. It cost us 95€ per month.

What does "not worth it" mean. The thing has a value of a few thousand euros. The electrician needs a few hours to place it somewhere and connect it. Then it stays there for a few months and earns money. If even that is not worth it, I wonder where we are living?

The problem is probably wear and tear, most say. They are not exactly handled with kid gloves. I can't judge, that was at any rate the statement of three electricians who no longer do it.

I had organized all of this myself.
Construction power, because we awarded the electrical work ourselves. That then cost almost nothing. The electrician also took care of everything there.
The standpipe at the building yard cost me the pure water consumption plus a 500 euro deposit, which I got back in the end.
This way I was more flexible with electricity and water and only returned both when I really didn’t need them anymore.
The same applies to the construction toilet, by the way.
