Hello everyone,
the topic probably belongs in several categories. If it fits better elsewhere, please move it.
What is the normal/better order for installing floor coverings (e.g. parquet), tiles, decorative plaster, and door frames?
Floor tiles -> parquet (other side of the door) -> door frame -> wall tiles or skirting tiles (connected to the door frame) -> decorative plaster?
Or first apply decorative plaster in the room where the parquet is to be, then floor tiles in the adjoining room, then parquet, then door frame, then wall tiles or skirting tiles, then decorative plaster in the tiled room? But then on one side of the door frame there is decorative plaster and on the other side the decorative plaster is plastered onto the frame.
I would appreciate your opinions. Thank you very much
