Optical defect yes/no? Height offsets door frames

Defect yes or no?

The door manufacturer says that a few millimeters are not a defect. I think otherwise, since in both cases the doors are next to each other and this sloppiness bothers me.

Unfortunately, I doubt it can be done with little effort. If the frame is readjusted, the joint specialist and painter will have to come again. The joint itself is actually a minor issue. However, the painter will certainly cost around €1,000. The problem is that the textured paint has a very fine grain. That means the entire wall has to be filled and repainted...
Can I demand defect remediation from the gate manufacturer including coverage of all consequential costs?

That would be a problem for me. How this is resolved has to do with the general relationship with the craft companies. We were accommodating and not picky in some matters. Here we would have had neither a discussion nor anything to pay for a correction.
