Good day,

many stones with (from my perspective) significant damage have just been installed in visible areas of our facade (windows, doors). I have already addressed the issue with the construction company, who want to consider it...

In advance: no, the contract does not state that only 100% perfect stones are allowed to be used.

Is there a guideline / case law, etc., from when a defect is considered to be present?

Regards

Hello,

in my opinion, that is not necessary either.

Sorry, the damages are clearly visible here and constitute at least a visual defect.

Imagine you would buy a super sports car for the same price - would you accept paint scratches or dents just because the contract does not say there are no scratches or dents?

Regards,

Dirk
