We had deliberately chosen a discreet light wood decor (Oak San Remo)... but in backlight you can see every fingerprint. Our grandson once erased something on it with an eraser, that spot is visible and cannot be removed anymore.. So far I have tried Fit and soda solution. Didn’t help. It just looks duller than before. Is the worktop treated with something from the factory? I am surprised and a bit disappointed.. I never experienced this with our previous worktop. Anyone had a similar experience? ...any idea for cleaning? Best regards Steffi

Well, a few more details would certainly be helpful. What material is the board made of? Laminate, solid wood? How is it treated?

We have one like that too. However, with relief. You can't see anything there. Or the location was chosen so well that the backlight has no chance.
