Hello,
We have an old building with ETICS. The facade was painted 7 years ago.
This morning after the rain I noticed that white spots appeared on the front side of the house.
The facade is wet from the rain. Normally this is not the weather side – meaning the facade is rarely wet here from rain. Also, this is the north side.
Is it correct that the dowels of the ETICS act as thermal bridges and therefore these spots occur? These are no longer visible once the wall is dry.
But it is only an optical problem, right?
Best regards!
