Oiling parquet

Some time ago, I installed a beech parquet floor, which now needs to be oiled again. Last year, I did this all by hand. However, since this is too strenuous for me, I would like to borrow a polishing machine. Now I have the question whether my planned procedure for the work is correct

[*]Clean the parquet with basic cleaner
[*]Oil the parquet, but no oil should remain standing on the surface*
[*]After the oil has been absorbed, polish with a polishing machine (soft brush)

* Here I have a question: How long should you let the oil soak in?

Hello, This can take between 4 and 15 hours - depending on the type of oil used. Before starting the work, read the user instructions and the technical data sheet of the parquet oil carefully.
