Hi,
as already described in another thread, we are dealing with the construction of a semi-detached house (both halves). The fact that the offer is generally difficult to compare is inherent to the matter, but you still try to do it in a few things.
Two providers are in the final selection – both have plaster included, both have also offered painting services, and both say their offer is "normal, good Q2 quality." The price difference is quite large (see below).
Question:
Provider B seems to offer wallpaper as a base and a silicate paint. Is that already the price difference? What do you think about the costs? We are grateful for any help!
Provider A: Standard:
All wall and ceiling surfaces are produced in surface quality Q2. Before you begin the work, the connection joints between walls, ceilings, and roof slopes must be properly closed.
If you want to finish your walls without wallpaper coatings, preparatory work is necessary to improve the surface quality and prevent fine cracks.
Additional costs:
4,930 EUR for 2x 111m²
Painting work on the ground and attic floors. Execute wall and ceiling surfaces in quality A2 and apply a binding paint coating.
Provider B:
Wall plaster (smoothed Q2 to Q3) from all interior wall surfaces on the ground and attic floors with gypsum plaster (Multigips). Repair of the entire wall plaster, closing all ceiling and wall penetrations.
Additional costs:
16,458 EUR for 2x105m²
Cleanly fill joints of the filigree ceiling panels with joint filler. Cover ceiling surfaces on the ground floor with woodchip wallpaper and coat twice with silicate. Coat plaster surfaces of the walls on the ground and attic floors with a silicate interior paint.
