Hello,

We are considering building with the company.
Has anyone built with Novum Innovativbau and were you satisfied?

Thank you very much!

Given the not exactly mainstream design, I see you having to choose the "innovative" option ("reworking Smart plus" will not be sufficient or economically advisable). And you should then bring in an independent architect; this general contractor (and BT) even refers to himself as a "draftsman" in his advertising (which I find somewhat sympathetic, but in my opinion is not enough for your project). I found nothing meaningful in the "gallery," especially no references. But it seems to me to be a solid small regional provider.

Our floor plans have even already been drawn by them, so that doesn't seem to be a problem. The offer also sounds good. However, it is the first solid construction company we are dedicating ourselves to. Unfortunately, I find very few experiences.

That’s exactly what I mean: that a general contractor draftsman copies customer plans and gives them to his estimator as a basis means nothing at all. If there were no approval obstacles included, the customers’ wishes pass smoothly through to the building permit – but also where a freelance architect would have raised criticism. Unfortunately, I only have one: – all other posts in this older thread refer to a company with a merely similar name in RLP. But with a regionally focused company, it’s also normal to find references not on the internet but rather in the building areas around the company’s headquarters. Among other places, there is a presumably already completed project at Fasanerieberg, and you should also be able to be told about current construction sites.

Hey,

so you really have to keep a close eye on the architect, actually the interior architect, everywhere sloppy work. Our address was wrong, the square meters of the property were wrong in the building application, drainage was forgotten, windows were forgotten in the execution plan, etc. But they apparently have a second architect who is supposed to be quite good, from what I heard.

I can’t say we are not satisfied, but also not that we are satisfied.

It’s not running perfectly, but also not totally badly. The roof structure and shell are up now.
Unfortunately, the site manager is not committed and has already caused a construction delay because he forgot our ventilation system and only remembered when there were corresponding outlets in the ceiling panels. Novum does not normally build with a central ventilation system, but we wanted one.

You’re not informed about delays, in general you have to chase information, but at least the masons and civil engineering company worked properly. The roof structure is also fitting.
Let’s see how it goes from here.

The only thing I would definitely not take is the affiliated financer. We got much better conditions and better advice from our financer, and she took great care of us. The guy from Novum was very unsympathetic to us.
