Absolutely - at least 2 weeks before the notary appointment, have the "draft" of the "purchase agreement" sent by the notary via email and check it!
We had a notary appointment in July 2015 and all of our requested changes to the "draft" were accepted. Sometimes it was individual sentences, sometimes even entire DIN A4 pages that were no longer in the contract at the notary appointment.

Less is more! ;)

This is mandatory, at least the 14 days :)

The style and spelling strongly suggest that a lawyer should review the contracts here. This lawyer should also be able to answer all questions well and explain the risks properly. In addition, any subsequent [Werkvertrag] should also be examined by them, and a construction measure should be accompanied by external expertise.

Anyone who cannot even ask the questions clearly is likely to have great difficulties in reviewing the contract themselves. In such cases, 14 days' notice is also of no use.

Oh man, I didn't know there are people like you here ... I thought you would get reasonable answers here ... oh, and before I forget, you also have a mistake in there ... I'm writing on my phone, so typos can happen.. And you can save yourself such advice .. Mr. Supersmart

Here I have to speak up for Voki1. You asked a question that did not make clear what you were getting at. Then you did not understand the irony in Voki’s answer. From such a post, I would also conclude that it would be better to have the contracts reviewed by a lawyer. After all, Voki only means well so that you don’t make a mistake. He just realized that you are a bit overwhelmed with the topic (which is not bad at all, you can’t know everything). So I find your response a bit exaggerated.
