No BAFA funding in 2025 - how are you dealing with it?

I just spoke with the company today that is supposed to replace our oil heating system with a heat pump and clarified that they will prepare all the documents this week so that we can still apply for the subsidy before the end of the year.

So, we applied today and about 10 minutes later the approval was already in the portal as a PDF... what is going on that it goes THAT fast?! I hardly would have thought that possible in Germany.

Well, these standard 08/15 subsidies are also checked automatically. For the KfW, especially in the residential sector, we also receive approvals within minutes. And we are sometimes talking about mid double-digit million amounts.
However, as soon as you deviate from the norm (state bank subsidies or commercial real estate), it takes longer because those are still (often) checked manually.

Yes, that it goes quickly because it is just standard for us, I already thought, but it still surprised me that it was that fast.
