The staircase that goes around the corner. Uh, how do I describe it. The staircase starts right next to the front door on the side and then turns 90 degrees after about 5 steps. This creates a rounded hallway at the top, from which all the doors lead off. My parents have the basement stairs under there. If those were removed, it would make for a really nice, large entrance hall with enough space for the coat rack and a cupboard.
I'll bring this up in the next conversation with the general contractor, thanks!
If the utility provider doesn’t see one, then who’s supposed to have one? - by the way, I have no problem with having paving instead of a concrete floor in the garage.
I was thinking about self-interest regarding accessibility to the supply lines. We have also considered paving already. I don’t really see any major disadvantages.
