Hello dear forum,
we have the opportunity to build the middle house in a three-unit row house complex.
The problem is that both the right and left neighbors will build their houses without a basement, whereas we want to build with a basement.
The neighbors will start building soon, we can only start in autumn. Giving up the basement is not really an option for us.
The necessary underpinning (is that the right term?) of the neighbors' houses will probably cost us quite a bit of money. Can you give a rough estimate of the amount we should expect?
Or is there an elegant solution in the end with which we can address the problem?
Thank you in advance for any response,
Hans
